Chinese Traditional Clothings Club
Chinese Traditional Clothing Club is an advocacy group promoting Han clothing (Hanfu) movement, brings attention to traditional cultural heritage. Through visual art and literature, we’ll provide cultural experience to the BU community and develop ways of appreciation towards traditional aesthetics and inner philosophy.
Logotype design (青衿华裳), 2021.08
As the co-founder and the vice president of the club, I designed the logotype with the expectation of the Hanfu movement and the understandings to the Chinese traditional culture. The two red blocks simulates classical Chinese stamp and typeface, and the line drawing in the back represents the typical identities of Chinese traditional clothings.

The concept of 24 solar terms is from the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar. Each of a solar term matchs a particular astronomical event or signifies some natural phenomenon.
To popularize this historical concept and promote the Hanfu movement, we selected photos of Hanfu matching the feelings of each solar term, and created posts for them on Instagram, Wechat, and other social media platform.
